Just Like The Butterfly

Directed by Adam Paul Stone, Just Like the Butterfly follows a man with a memory disorder as he fights to reconstruct his marriage using only fragments of what his past and present self choose to allow himself to remember. Shot on a single lens, the film feels as if it can only live in the present point of view even when portraying the past, often choosing to walk the camera into focus for clarity, rather than a traditional focus pull. The handheld camera reinforces this, searching for clarity in every moment.
