Directed by Elaine Del Valle, Princess Cut follows two women separated by class whose lives intersect one night in a laundromat. Using the confined, gritty space, we pushed the characters together, amplifying the power dynamics to a fatal end. During moments of panic, a 14mm lens was used to heighten distortion, pulling the viewer into her psychological state.
